    basically constant vigilance is needed and you should visit this site for an indepth explanation:

    To summarise… you can use websites called Copyspace and Plagium to run searches and then file a simple request called a DMCA with Google and other search engines. The DMCA will get to the bottom of who the originator is and it’ll basically throw the wrong doer to the bottom of future SERPS.
